"And so the day is here finally," Temi said as she climbed on the bike taking her to Dapo's place. Her heart couldn't stop beating so fast.
'Maybe this is wrong, maybe i should just wait till i am married like they say in church' 'Oh God, please forgive me'. Temi was very nervous but felt in her heart she had to this and it was the right choice. She loved Dapo so much and he has asked her countless times to prove that to him. "How?" She had asked and he said, 'i know in church, my dad preaches almost every other Sunday to us about waiting but everyone is doing it. It is the only way to express how we feel about each other.'
Dapo's dad was also the head pastor of their church while Temi's dad was one of the deacons in the church. Temi and Dapo met for the first time on the day Temi's father was to be ordained a deacon.
'Okay, here i am. I am so scared' Temi thought to herself. 'Give me my change, abeg!' Temi shouted at the bike-man. 'Aunty, abeg why you they shout? You sure say you well? If you get any wahala, abeg no pour am on top my head oh.' The bike-man shouted back at her. 'Sorry, abeg no vex' Temi apologized for lashing out.
As Temi knocked, she couldn't stop hoping this was the right decision. "Hey babe, good to see you" Dapo said while giving her a hug as he opened the door. Temi smiled saying, 'good to see you too dear.'
"Just take a seat, let me fix you a drink" said Dapo, "Okay" said Temi. "Be right back" and with that Dapo disappeared to his room.
Dapo closed the door to his room and picked his phone that had been ringing. "Hello, yeah what's up. Yes, she's here. Okay no problem, hurry"
